Background
Aaron Iskowitz is a founding principal of Panot Capital, a real estate asset management firm based in Texas with offices in California, New York and Rhode Island. Aaron established Panot in 2023 to initially manage an extensive real estate portfolio on behalf of a series of Trusts. The firm has plans to expand its investments and client relationships, focusing on real estate management and development.
Prior to the establishment of Panot, Aaron was the chief operating officer of Urban Smart Growth (USG), a family-owned business that develops and owns real estate projects with a focus on multi-family and mixed-use communities in previously derelict buildings. During his decade-long tenure at USG, Aaron worked directly for the founder and managed all company operations, development initiatives and investment decisions.
Before joining USG in 2013, Aaron was vice president in the capital markets group at Avison Young, a senior associate at The Carlton Group and a project manager / financial analyst at New Jersey-based regional real estate developer Woodmont Properties.
Aaron graduated from Union College with a B.A. in Managerial Economics. He also received an M.S. in Real Estate, with a concentration in Finance, along with an advanced degree in Cities and Urban Development, from New York University.
